After the scorching heat, it’s time for the rain showers to give us a sigh of relief. Few days back I got a call from a friend and she asked me that she wants to buy a Term Insurance of XYZ Co. as it would give her a life cover till 75 as against ABC Co. which insures her only till 65. I asked her why she insisted on getting insured till 75. She said, “What’s the harm in getting yourself insured for 10 more years, it’s always better to have more”. The festive mood is on with Diwali round the corner. I remember, as a kid I used to wait for Diwali like anything. The reasons for this wait were just not because it’s the time to have holidays or to burst crackers or to have sumptuous food. But the biggest reason was, it used to be a time to buy new things viz. clothes, utensils, furniture etc. Many of us must have heard our parents saying “We will buy a new car or a new fridge on Diwali”.
